Jamie Brogan
Jamie Brogan is a Peer and Community Health Worker with both lived and professional experience in mental health, substance use recovery, homelessness, and justice system involvement. She holds multiple credentials in Texas, including Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS), Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS), Peer Support Supervisor (PSS), and Community Health Worker (CHW).
Jamie is employed by her Local Mental Health Authority, where she provides services across a range of community settings. Her work includes supporting individuals in homeless and domestic violence shelters, conducting direct outreach as part of a multidisciplinary team, and engaging with individuals in the county jail. In addition to her fieldwork, she offers supervision and mentorship to both emerging and experienced peer support professionals.
She brings a deeply personal perspective to her work as an autistic individual in long-term recovery. Jamie lives in New Braunfels, Texas, with her rescue dog, Sunny. - Texas
