Become a Certified Peer Specialist – No Cost Training & Stipend Available!

If you live in Texas and have lived experience with opioid use disorder (OUD), substance use disorder (SUD), or mental health challenges and want to turn that experience into a meaningful career, One World Recovery Network (OWRN) is offering a life-changing opportunity you may be eligible for! Our Opioid-Impact Family Support Program provides No-Cost Core, Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS), and Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS) training—along with placement for the 250 required hours for full Peer Specialist Certification. A stipend is available to support you as you complete the program.

To Be Eligible For This Opportunity, You Must:

  • Reside in Texas

  • Be At Least 18 Years of Age

  • Have Lived Experience with Mental Health and/or Substance Use Challenges

  • Have a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

  • Be Willing to Share Your Recovery Experience with Others
